1. How long does it take to make a glass bead?
A simple bead takes about three minutes to make, and an intricate one takes around ten minutes.
2. Do glass beads break?
They do if not annealed properly.
3. How long does it take between me placing an order and you shipping it to me?<
If I have all the materials needed, probably one week. If I have to get materials to do the order, it takes around ten days.
4. Do you have a return policy?
Yes, I do. Please refer to the Return Policy section.
5. What is "annealing"?
Annealing is the process of cooling down the bead already finished in the kiln, so the interior of the molten glass cools evenly. Click here to view more information.
6. What is a kiln?
It's a small oven that can be heated to more than 1500 degrees Fahrenheit. It's needed for working with glass.

A mandrel is a stick made from stainless steel or other metal to handle the glass.

8. How do you deal with sizing adjustments?
Contact me about whether a piece can be adjusted to fit you PRIOR TO PAYMENT. Most items can be lengthened or shortened at no cost. Clasp types and earring finding types can be changed, which may incur a small materials fee. For other changes to a piece ask me and I'll do my best!!
9. What if I wanted the same piece in a different colour?
If you'd like an existing piece in a different colour or size, ask me, I may already have one not yet listed.
10. Do you offer jewelry on consignment?
Consignment inquiries are heartily Welcomed! I am always looking to reach as wide a market as possible in a variety of shops, galleries and websites. Please, contact me to discuss.
